Linda and Mark from Banks and Dade have had lots of fun giving back this Christmas.
Banks and Dade Chiro + Wellness have participated in ‘Giving Back’ Week from 6 to 12 December, collecting many fabulous donations by the community. The value of these donations is hard to measure because they are about fun and feeling valued and they did it for the children who are impacted by domestic violence.
Joining chiropractors from the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) in hosting Giving Back Week, the team at local chiropractors Dr Linda Dade and Dr Mark Banks , and their support staff Melissa and Ehlayna asked patients to donate games and toys and books to the children that often fall through the cracks when families break apart
The gifts collected were donated to the local Woman’s Shelter in time for Christmas so that children and families in the local area, going through difficult times this festive season don’t feel like they have been let down.
“We are so very excited to receive this wonderful donation and so very grateful to Banks and Dade and their generous patients. said John English of Great Lakes Women’s Shelter
We wish to thank all those who donated. It is very much appreciated.
“Your generosity has been felt by the whole community and has gone a long way in helping spread some Christmas joy to those who need it most! This just proves how truly great our community is, in coming together to help one another, especially during the tough times we’ve had. So often it is the children who fall through the cracks, and we especially want them to feel special and thought of and valued. We have had such a great response and have had fun seeing what was put into our toy boxes. We look forward to making this an annual event again next December,” Dr Linda said.
