Kylie has been a massage therapist in Forster Tuncurry for over 20 years. She began her career at a young age in her family’s business, which focused on mind-body therapy, deep tissue massage, and ligament and tendon care.
Growing up in Forster Tuncurry, she appreciated the changing dynamics of living in a seasonal holiday town. Visitors came to experience the atmosphere and natural beauty. Many left feeling better after receiving a massage.
Kylie graduated in Social Science Recreation and Tourism from Newcastle University, and her first job was with Fitness First connected with the joy of movement.
Kylie enrolled at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies and began working as a Chiropractic Assistant at Universal Health.
Returning to Forster to start a family Kylie worked in the family business and provided massages at Endota Spa, mastering the art of relaxation.
Kylie continued her education at the Academy of Human Sciences, thanks to Leonie Sorensen, and began a 10-year journey in Clinical Psychophysical Therapy.
During the pandemic Kylie continued to work as an Allied Health Assistant in Physiotherapy at Baptist care Forster.
Kylie completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling in 2024 at Canberra University. She focuses on the skill of deep listening and believes that many ailments can be healed by balancing a person as a whole.
